We won the match 26 – 6
Match report:
Our Year 5 girls played their very first netball match against Charlotte House this week, and it was a fantastic afternoon!
With seven players and a sub, the girls had the chance to try out a few different positions during the match. There was some great competitive netball, with plenty of determination, energy and, most importantly, lots of smiles!
The team spirit was brilliant, with the girls encouraging one another throughout. They made good use of the space, worked hard to find gaps, kept close to their players and showed real determination to get to every ball. There were lots of goals scored and some lovely attacking play, but the girls also had to work hard in defence as Charlotte House put up some good resistance.
It was lovely to see the girls playing with such confidence and enthusiasm, getting stuck in and enjoying every minute. They showed great sportsmanship throughout and should be really proud of their first match.
A big thank you to Charlotte House for coming to play and giving the girls such a great opportunity to experience competitive netball. We hope to see you again soon!
