At Reddiford, we believe that children deserve the best possible start to their education. Our Reception team provide an environment where children feel supported, secure and happy. We consider each child’s interests, wants and needs so that they are ready to learn and exceed. We are committed to providing an exceptional Early Years education that is; creative, challenging, active and exciting which in turn ensures a thirst for knowledge and new experiences
As with our Pre School classes, the children’s learning is based around the seven areas of the Foundation Stage Curriculum but is further enhanced with expert teaching in Literacy and Mathematics as well as some lessons being taught by subject specialists, this includes tackling skills from the Year One National Curriculum such as working out formal calculations and writing short stories.
