Year 5 enjoyed a fantastic day in London, travelling by Underground to visit the London Eye and take a cruise along the River Thames. Despite the grey weather, each class had its own pod on the London Eye and enjoyed spectacular views of famous landmarks, including St Paul’s Cathedral, the Houses of Parliament and even the arch of Wembley Stadium. After lunch, the children took to the top deck of a river cruise, where they learned about London’s rich history, iconic landmarks and the many bridges spanning the Thames. It was a memorable day filled with learning, sightseeing and fun!
