Britain’s Got Talent

During the Easter holidays, the Head Teacher of Reddiford School, Mrs Batt, was unexpectedly approached by the high-profile production team of Britain’s Got Talent. They were preparing a thrilling magic act by the talented illusionist Fabian Fox and were eager to know whether she had once taught KSI. Upon confirming that she had, they eagerly asked if filming could take place at the school while it was closed for the break.

Secrecy was absolutely crucial, as the act needed to remain a complete surprise before its dramatic reveal. Mrs Batt’s role was to verify her identity and share a few words about her former pupil, KSI.

Filming took place during the holiday period and featured a sequence in which Fabian rode up to the school on his electric motorbike, dramatically revealing the school’s postcode. He then cleverly spelled out Mrs Batt’s name before she appeared at precisely the right moment in a classroom scene.

The captivating act aired on 2nd May and included jaw-dropping moments, such as Fabian mysteriously disappearing—along with his motorbike. It proved to be a standout performance, earning him the title of top act and securing his place in the final.

The children of Reddiford school were taken by surprise seeing their Head Teacher appear on a national TV programme and are so excited to see their school and classrooms feature in an act with such a famous ex pupil!
