On Friday 19th May Year 5 enjoyed a hugely informative trip to the reconstructed Globe Theatre in London. We were able to view some of the sights of central London before meeting our guides for the Theatre visit – actors and directors who work in the Globe Theatre. Inside the Theatre, we learned about its history and were amazed at the design of the building and stage. Afterwards, we had a fantastic workshop based around Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream.
