Year 6 visited 2 sites near Amersham to learn how to measure the width, depth and flow of a river. We moved to a second location which was deeper and faster flowing water to practise the pervious skills, which included looking for different creatures that lived in the water. Year 6 really enjoyed themselves after being a little uncertain about having wet wellington boots and feet!
