Extra-curricular clubs

Extra-curricular clubs

We offer a wide range of extra-curricular activities during the lunch break and after school. These include: Mandarin, art, craft, sewing, chess, I.T., life skills, gym, tennis, recorder and science clubs. Children may choose two activities from the list issued at the beginning of each academic year.

In addition there are both Infant and Junior choirs which the children audition for at the beginning of the year.

Dance classes

Many of our children take part in the dance classes at the Reddiford studio school. Please see the studio school section on this website for further details.

Karate
Karate classes are available after school for a termly fee. These are taken by outside, fully qualified instructors.

PGL trip

Canoeing

Every year our Year 6 children experience a multi activity educational course run by PGL at Boreatton Park in Shropshire.

It provides a wonderful opportunity for the children to spend a week together before they go their separate ways to their various senior schools.

Shooting

Shooting

The challenges of the week stand them in good stead for the challenges of starting a new school.

They experience activities such as canoeing, raft building, abseiling, archery and climbing and always return thrilled at their acheivements.
