On Tuesday 13th December both Reception classes ate their lunch faster than usual. They were looking forward to our journey by coach to Rickmansworth. Cinderella was on at the Watermeet Theatre and all the children were excited about seeing a familiar story on the stage. The journey was straightforward and we were dropped off opposite the theatre.

We were met at the rception desk and escorted up to the theatre on the first floor. The children enjoyed the experience of attending a Pantomime with their friends and teachers. As always, there was much audience participation and even some dancing going on during the performance.

Cinderella was beautiful and her Prince was very handsome with an excellent singing voice. The ugly sisters wore some amazing costumes and the children liked boing them!

During the interval, all the children enjoyed refreshments and these gave them extra energy for the second half fo the Pantomime. We were all proud of their good behaviour and pleased that they had enjoyed the experience.

All the staff and children are looking forward to our Pantomime next year.
