Pre-Prep Sports Day this year had us all on the edge of our seats, and not because we were under prepared! Having seen parents, colleagues and siblings coming home drenched on the Tuesday, the forecast for Wednesday 9th June was not altogether promising. Promise and talent were the name of the game on Wednesday afternoon. The rain held of, and we were able to start proceedings on time. All children ran in four races, putting into practice what they had worked so hard towards in their last few weeks in P.E.

Our Hoop, Bat and Ball and Running Events allowed many children to showcase their talents and the Fancy Dress race allowed everyone to have a good laugh as children struggled to keep hats, handbags and scarves on board as they dashed to the finish.

Points were awarded per race and total points totted up to give overall winners. Well done to all the children whose efforts made the day so enjoyable.
