What a closely fought competition this turned out to be! In the first round the Year 3 and Year 4 contestants impressed the audience with their amazing scientific knowledge. Then in the second round the Year 5 and Year 6 contestants continued to try and outwit their opponents, but the competition ultimately ended on a tie break question.

Congratulation to the Wellington team, who are the 2010 University Challenge Science Quiz winners, with a score fo 120. Second place was Nelson, with a score of 110 and third place was Churchill with a score of 11.
