On Friday 14th May, Year 1 enjoyed an informative day out, where they were able to experience in greater detail, the wonder of the most loved children's author of all time, Roald Dahl. They learned about Roald Dahl's life as well as some of his most popular books, including 'The Twits'. 'George's Marvellous Medicine' and the 'BFG'.

The children particularly enjoyed the interactive exhibits, which they were able to take advantage of during the afternoon. Some of the highlights included a ride in Mr Wonka's glass elvator and crawling through Fangtastic Mr Fox's tunnel!

It was a fantastic day out, which was enjoyed by everyone
