During the month of May, Reddiford Karate Club had an unexpected visitor, the 78 year-old world-renowned Karate Master, probably among the top five living legends in the Karate world.

Hirukazu Kanazawa (10th Dan) taught the class in his own special way. He was impressed by the pupils' respect for manners and discipline. The children were spellbound and appreciated the significance of his teaching. Some of them managed to get their gi's (karate suit) signed by him, using his special signature, based on the look of Mount Fuji in Japan.
